Denise Carson Wilde studied studio arts (majoring in painting & printmaking) at Capilano University in North Vancouver, B.C. 1976-1978; In 1979 she founded Winter Lily Press (a letter press studio) and has won numerous design awards. In 1992 she studied printmaking in Italy. She currently co-owns The Original Paper-Ya Co. on Granville Island in the heart of Vancouver, which she co-founded in 1986. She has traveled extensively in Ireland, Turkey, India, Indonesia, Japan and Europe, and more recently Vietnam and Argentina.

In 1996 she was invited to St. Micheals Print shop in Newfoundland as Visiting Artist in Residence. She is a member of Malaspina Printmakers. During 98/01 she participated in the Institute Program for Printmakers at Capilano University. She is now self represented in Vancouver and can be contacted at dcwilde@shaw.ca.
