Denise Carson Wilde studied studio arts (majoring in painting & printmaking) at Capilano University in North Vancouver, B.C. 1976-1978; In 1979 she founded Winter Lily Press (a letter press studio) and has won numerous design awards. In 1992 she studied printmaking in Italy. She co-founded and owned The Original Paper-Ya Co. on Granville Island, Vancouver BC, from 1986 - 2016. She has traveled extensively in Ireland, Turkey, India, Indonesia, Japan, Europe, Vietnam and Argentina and more recently Mexico.

In 1996 she was invited to St. Micheals Print shop in Newfoundland as Visiting Artist in Residence. She is a member of Malaspina Printmakers. During 98/01 she participated in the Institute Program for Printmakers at Capilano University. She lives both in Vancouver and on Gabriola Island. She is now self represented and can be contacted at dcwilde@shaw.ca.
